On the quest to connect the unconnected it has always been obvious in rural Tanzania that women have taken or rather given the back seat on the ride for development beginning with lack of information, misinformation on topics that matters most, digital gap keeps on dividing us even further, and rapid technology growth has made it even harder to adapt to new advancements and often men take the lead but still information acquired by men is not disseminated to the household.
This time around we say no to DIGITAL DIVIDE and MISINFORMATION by keeping women and girls at the center of information. They are disrupting the cultural norms and systems that have held women back over the years.
THE DISRUPTOR is people in rural areas who work day and night to change narratives.
